It means appointments with the existing 'old' system up to 29 November, as it clearly states. It does not state you can make appointments for January up to 29 November. It also says that ppl applying for ilr before 29th Nov, can choose to go via existing route or the nee UKVCAS route.
So, does it mean i can still take an appt between 24-29th Nov, for a date after 12th Jan at the premium service centre (Croydon is whr i will b applying)? Im confused as it also says they are closing down the PSC’s by Nov end & limited appt avaibility till 8th Jan.
There has been NO change of rules or laws regarding ILR or citizenship. It is ONLY the application process that has changed!!Ok. thank you for the clarification. Also, i wanted to know if there is any change in applying for child's british registration after parents ILR. My son is born here in 2015, earlier i was going to apply for his british registration & passport (MN1 form) soon after my ilr. Can i do the same still or has that also changed?
There is currently uncertainty on what is considered the application date with the new system. Might be safer to apply online once you are in your 28 days before period. So to clarify, my 28 days eligibility period starts from 11th Jan '18, so as per the new process, can i apply online on 7 or 8 th Jan, then take an appt date within 5 days of applying as it says, which will be 11 or 12th Jan? Or do i have to fill the form only on 11th Jan & thereafter take the appt in 5 days at the nearest service centre?
A tenay from 2014 will only count if you can show it was still binding in the last two years. Short assured let tenancies have a fixed end date and they need to be extended to be binding beyond their original end date.

Just to update everyone I have just received an official reply from UKVI front end services on my query for application date and appointment date which I think is more clearer now. I hope its helpful.
Good Morning
Appointments cannot be booked until the online application has been completed. All customers will be able to attend the new service within 5 working days.
You should not apply before you are eligible as the date of application is considered to be the day you submit your online application.
Many Thanks
