T2 Partner Visa Renewal

Post by LABEJGSLP » Wed Jan 09, 2019 3:32 am

My spouse is already in uk as a tier 2 general shortage occupation. She started May 2016 and currently working COS end of date 20 July 2021. Recently last month December 19, 2018 my Uk visa has been successful and permission to be in the Uk as Leave to Enter as Tier 2 Partner from 19 December 2018 to 20 May 2020. I'm travelling to Uk on 14 January 2019. We paid for IHS route to 3years. We just wondering UKVI gave me 18 months to stay in the UK.

We have some questions please anyone here can reply and share any thoughts.
1. Am I allowed to extend or renew my visa as a Tier 2 Partner?

2. Do we need to pay IHS even we paid 3 years route?

Any links related to our current situation? Please anyone can share there thoughts and advise. Thank you so much. We really appreciate if anyone can hear us.

Your initial post was at 3.32am UK time. Most of us are sleeping at that time so need to bump your topic after less than 2 hours.

Did you get a 30 day valid visa vignette in your passport or a longer validity?
1. Am I allowed to extend or renew my visa as a Tier 2 Partner?

Yes.
2. Do we need to pay IHS even we paid 3 years route?
You have to pay IHS with each application you make. IHS fees doubled yesterday to £400 per year per person.

The vignette sticker for entry 19 December 2018 and valid until 18 January 2018. I'm arriving in Uk 15th of January 2019 probably going to pick up my brb then.

Your BRP card will likely expire when your spouse's visa does.

PBS Dependent visa extension when your spouse applies. All information available on the HO website.

T2 Pbs Dep.Partner extension

Post by LABEJGSLP » Thu Jan 10, 2019 1:23 am

Hi Its me again I have another question that made me confuse. My Spouse COS will expired September 21, 2021 and My leave to enter in the Uk start December 19, 2018 until May 20,2020. We thought UKVI will give me 2 years and months. But they just gave me 1 year and 6 months. Before my visa expiration can I apply an extension for my visa as my spouse renew here Visa before COS expiration.

Please help me to enlightend my knowledge for this situation. Thank you so much

1. Please do not start multiple duplicate topics, both now merged.

2. Yes you can but I suggest you wait to get your brp card and see the expiry date first.

Leave to enter extension

Post by LABEJGSLP » Sat Jan 19, 2019 6:23 am

I started applied my Tier 2 Pbs Dependant Partner Visa last December 3 2018 and received a decision letter 19 December 2018. UkVI put my validation date and visa expiry from December 19 2018 until May 19 2020. Menwhile my sponsor who is my spouse her Visa will expire September 2021. My visa expiry date and my spouse expiry date made us confused and stressful. What do i need to do about this situation. I already have my brp and the expiry date may 19 2020.

1.Is it possible to apply an extension for my visa as an leave to enter even my spouse visa not expired yet?

My spouse will apply her ILR September 2021

2. How can I apply my visa and Do you have any link that similar to my situation.

Please enlightend me for this situation that made us stressful we paid for my IHS for 3years and UKVI just gave me 17 months to stay with my spouse 😥

You cannot apply yet for a visa extension.

If there is an error in your visa validity, you need to raise the issue with HO or the BRP contact info you received with your BRP Card.
