ILR Application questions

Post by krish121988 » Tue Jan 08, 2019 2:48 pm

Dear all,

I am eligible to apply for ILR in few months time and I have following questions. It will be very helpful if you could help me to find answers for these questions please.

1. Do I need to show my financial savings for 3 months? I heard last one month is ok. Do I still need to show 3 months of statement and how much please?

2. My wife visa expires same time as mine. But she been in this country only for last 2 years. Therefore she will going under ILR dependent visa category. For this category is it enough if I show 2 months of financial statement and how much please?

Thanks a lot :)

You need the last month salary slip as far as I know. Your wife remains under PBS dependant route until eligible for ILR

Thanks for your reply

1. Do I need to maintain any money as savings for ILR application? If yes how much ?

2. For PBS Dependent route is it enough to show savings for last one month?

Thanks a lot

1. No!!

2. No, one month is not enough. It must be £630 for 90 days minimum, same as always.

Thanks a lot for reply. One final question.

1. £630 is that savings can be in ILR dependant applicant account or it should be saved in my account?

Thanks a lot again

Can be your and/or her account.
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.

Thanks for your reply.

Is that mean £945 to support myself + £630 = £1575 or
Just £630 enough?

Sorry for too many questions.

Thanks in advance

If dependents are applying on their own for a dependent extension after you get ILR, it is only £630 for each dependent for 90 days.

firstly thanks a lot for your reply.

sorry for too many questions again and just wanted to be clear.

Sorry I did not understand what you meant. Could you please explain what u mean by "If dependents are applying on their own for a dependent extension after you get ILR".

Is that mean if dependent apply to extend visa (through my ILR) with there bank statements and savings and not dependent on my savings and bank statement?

But still I need to give documents from my side to support her application right?

Is it possible for you to explain a bit more pls?

Thanks a lot

Maintenance funds of £630 for PBS dependent visa extension can be held in EITHER your account or spouse account.

You are overthinking.

Guys,

Sorry for multiple post and thanks for looking at my post.

I have very strange issue :(

Probably most unlucky person

I am in Tier 2 (General) visa - Employer sponsorship visa category. I went for 5 years route at the time application.
My visa says below,

1. Valid until : 12-04-2019
2. Place and Date of issue :
UK 19-05-2014
3. Type of Permit:
Tier 2 (General)
Leave to remain

So the question is, technically my visa validity is approximately 4 years 10months 23 days (if I am not wrong)

Is that mean I wont be able to apply for ILR at the end of my visa validity?

Thanks a lot
