Any Tier-1 (General) new applicants??

Hi Good morning everybody !

I spoke to my agent again. She says that tier 2 and other tiers are going to be implemented end of this month. So most of the case workers are on training. So they are not working full strength. That is why they are taking longer to decide on each applications.

Atleast this looks believable.

She asked me to wait till next wednesday and hopefully should get some news.

I thought there will be separate teams to work on different Tiers so that case workers are not confused.

Just called up HO, good news is that, IT IS SENT YESTERDAY. Sweet lady also gave me tracking number. Hopefully, i will receive by tomorrow.

I assume, they are probably the same for all tiers and are trained to handle each type.

I had sent fax for urgent treatment yesterday, so i asked her whether she received it and anyone is looking into it. the she gave me this info.

I'm sure they have processed all application between 24-30April. So, all should get good news by tomorrow or latest by monday.

... only after 10 weeks you can know the status...I asked the lady to atleast tell me whether it has been allocated or not.. but she said sorry...after 10 weeks.....

I was pulling out my reference number.. After reading this I think I will hold on myself and wait for tomorrow's mail.

i have been a silent viewer for sometime now.this forum has been very helpful to me..i applied for tier 1 highly skilled on 17th april.......recieved documents with approval on 6th june......approval letter dated 21st may...was on a student visa....thanks guys...anyone who needs help should feel free to contact me.........and to all those still waiting,ur stress will be over soon........[/list]

Hi dinesh, did they give u the tracking number of the letter and can u see that it was sent on the postoffice site? i did call yesterday and i was told that my documents r ready to be despatched, and she gave me the tracking number, but nothing so far! i called now and they said well no ur documents r not sent and all what i can say they r still under consideration!! and when i asked about the "ready to be despatched" he said i can't comment on that.
It's really annoying, playing with people like that. hopefully u'll get urs soon, i applied on the 28/4.
