Tier 4 to Tier 2 New UKVCAS System

Hi,

My wife is swithcing from tier 4 to tier 2, i read some topics saying that in most of the cases they not going take passports and evidences, we have no plans to go outside UK so we wanted to go for standard service.

Just wanted to know does anybody in forum applied tier 4 to tier 2?? if they going to take passport in our case we want to go for priority service instead waiting for years in standard service.

I have applied using the super priority service (next day decision)
they don't take your passport or documents but they need to see the originals and scan them then send a copy to the home office.
I received my decision the next day and was approved however I am still waiting for my BRP

By the way you can't travel until you receive the new BRP.

With the new service, you retain all your documents. It will only be scanned and given back to you. I applied to switch as well and still waiting for response. Mine is a standard service application. So it's about 8 weeks.
