you need to get section 10 of Passport application form signed with a valid British/Irish Passport number. Then you need to get one picture signed with statement "I certify that its true likeness of MR ..... " signed and dated.Cris19 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 11:06 pmHello everyone,
I have received the letter from the Home Office confirming that my application for British citizenship has been approved. I have my citizenship ceremony in two weeks.
As soon as I have my citizenship certificate I am going to apply for the passport using the Post Office passport Check and Send service.
My question is:
Can the referee be the same that I used when I applied for naturalisation?
I have read the information that comes with the passport application and it doesn’t say anything about using (or not using) the same person as a referee.
If not, could I give my manager’s name as a referee?
Thank you.
Have you considered applying online?Cris19 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 11:06 pmHello everyone,

You have to send the original naturalisation certificate with the passport application!!Prem wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 8:29 amDid you have send off your naturalisation certificate or because you used the Post Office Check & Send Service, they just wrote the number on the form and gave it back to you?
So all you would have sent is:
Your filled application form
Two identical photos (one counter signed and one blank)
Previous passports
So does the certificate of naturalisation stay with you is what I'm asking?
