Delaying application for Dependents

Post by Marishres » Sun Jan 13, 2019 5:35 am

Hi!

I am thinking about applying for ILR by the end of Jan19 as a primary applicant and leaving my dependents (husband and daughter) to apply later since its valid until April 2020. My father-in-law is very sick due to recent strokes and my husband needs to travel back and forth quite often. If we all apply together, there might be a delay in getting the decision from the UKVI with their standard processing time. Therefore considering this parameter I was thinking about upholding his application for the time being and just apply for myself and he would still be eligible to travel if required. Assuming my application is approved, can he not apply for ILR on same day application later on?

Thanks!

Are you applying for ILR under the 5 year route or long residence?

Hi Casa!

I received my first BRP on 28 Feb 2014. Under the 5 year route, I will be eligible to apply on 31 Jan 2019. He's been with since day 1 in UK. My daughter joined us only on May 2015.

I was thinking about delaying his application so that he could travel for any emergencies and can apply for same day once my application is approved.

I need another help with my job creation as well. I have the followings:

Employee 2018 Total Hours
A Jan to Aug 8 months 8 120 960
0
B Jun to Nov 6 months 6 120 720
0
C Nov to Jan 3 months 3 120 360
0
D Dec to Jan 2 months 2 120 240
0
E Apr to Aug 5 months 5 120 600

24 Months 24 2,880.00
How should I combine these jobs for the fulfilment?

Thanks.

The one day service has been withdrawn.

I'll leave someone better placed to advise to respond on your other question.

I am assuming you are Tier 1 Ent migrant. Yes you can apply your ILR alone. Since your dependents visa is valid till 2020 they can apply anytime before their expiry.

If your visa is approved you can go for super priority 24 hour service for your “dependents”.

There is only standard service for yourself tho.

Hi Everyone!

My immigration history:

Type: Tier 1 Ent.
Date of initial visa approval: 28 Feb 2014
Date of Entry: 05 June 2010
Date of extension approval: 12 April 2018
Any absences above 180 days in year 1: NO
State start dates of employees:
Employee A: Jan to Aug 2018 @ 120 hrs/mnth
Employee B: April to Aug 2018 @ 120 hrs/mnth
Employee C: June to Nov 2018 @ 120 hrs/mnth
Employee D: Nov'18 to Jan'19 @ 120 hrs/mnth
Employee E: Dec'18 to Jan'19 @ 120 hrs/mnth

Since I qualify on 28 Feb 2019, I am thinking about applying end of Jan'19. Have I fulfilled my job creation criteria?

Thanks!
