You are wrong. It is NOT required for spouse or child visas. It is for Adult Dependent (elderly) Relativ visa applicants.

Do they check paternity records the ones we submit to the employers when applying for kids British passport or settlement visas?

Did you provide paternity leave records?
Do they check that when someone applied for kids passport or settlement visa?

Kids status after settlement visa

Post by aamir_maky123 » Tue Jan 30, 2018 5:16 pm

Hi

I will be applying for my wife and 2 kids (a 3 year old and a 7th month old) settlement visa.

What visas will be issued to the kids?
Will they be granted ILR, if not when will they be eligible for ILR?

Regards

Children will be issued with settlement visa the same as your wife and will only qualify for ILR when she does after 5 years of residence (2.5 x 2.5).

They will still be eligible to apply for ILR after 5 years, considering I have a British citizenship?

Wait for others to advise, I was responding to your post where you mentioned you are applying for settlement visas for your children. Were your children born before or after you became a British citizen?

Children will get the same visa as their mother and follow the same path to ILR with 5 years residence.

Pity your kids were not born in the UK, would have been much simpler for them.

You do not need a DNA test if kids were conceived whilst you and your wife were married at that time.

There is no 'minimum balance' or 'fund maintenance' requirement for a spouse visa. You need to provide evidence that you meet the income requirment per annum.

Yes it will be same fee around £ 1464 per child.
You have to pay ihs for your wife along with online application £ 624 per applicant.
You can do priority if your case is straight forward.
I just recently applied for my wife and two children
on 15th jan and got call from ho 24th waiting for decision hope it will help.
Hi -

Hope you are well.
Has your Mrs and Kids joined you?

I am applying for my Mrs and two kids settlement visa. Would it be OK to ask of the process?
