Spouse and Kids settlement visa application

Post by crazyfrog0281 » Sun Jan 13, 2019 7:56 pm

Hi all,

I am a British citizen starting the process of settlement visa for my Mrs and kids (two) currently residing in Pakistan.

I have been working for my current employer since Oct 2018 earning 45,000 per annum, completing the probation towards the end of this month. From my previous employment of ten months, I was earning 35,000 per annum. There is no gap in the employment.

I have a two bedroom flat on mortgage.

What documents are required from me and my Mrs/Kids for settlement visa application?

How much is settlement visa application fee?

How much is IHS fee for each applicant?

Regards

Will I be submitting three separate applications, one for my Mrs and one for each child, or
can it be submitted as a joint application?

If I am submitting three separate applications, will the payment be submitted individually for each application?

When selecting visa type for my MRS

Reason for visit: Settlement
Visa type: Settlement
Visa sub type: Wife

Following message prompts in the window

After you have completed the online form, you must complete the relevant Financial Requirement Form, Appendix 2 of VAF4A, which can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... endix2.pdf

When selecting visa type for my Child

Reason for visit: Settlement
Visa type: Settlement
Visa sub type: Child or Other Dependant of Settled Person

After you have completed the online form, you must complete the relevant appendix, which can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... vaf4a1.pdf

Do I need to fill in Appendix2 form for my Mrs and VAF4A form for kids?

Hi,

My Mrs and Kids (infant and a 4 year old) has been granted settlement visa.

On kids visa it mentioned, "no recourse to public funds"

how does it applied to kids in terms of schooling and child benefits?

Schooling is free for all children. Not private schools obviously.

A person with ILR or British citizenship can claim Child benefits. It is the parent that claims not the child.
