Break in 5 years continuous entry

Post by nateymac » Thu Jan 24, 2019 10:10 pm

I have a Tier 2 Sponsored visa until Sept 2019 but may need to leave the UK and my employment for up to two months. If I was employed by another organisation after that those two months on another Tier 2 Sponsored visa, does the two month break effectively break my five years of continuous entry required to apply for ILR? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There is no longer a 60 day employment gap rule. It was removed over a year ago already.

Obviously, if you try to apply for a tier 2 outside the UK, you will be subject to the 12 month cooling off period.
