SOC code change and ILR application

Post by Sac11k » Fri Jan 25, 2019 10:22 pm

Dear Gurus

Need your advice on below,

I have started tier 2 general visa in 2014. Have done change of employment Nov 2016. SOC code changed to 2119 (PhD level RMLT was performed ) . Now eligible for ILR in Feb.
So question 1. What will be minimum salary would be considered for ILR application? As per 2119 PhD code which is exempted from 35k threshold? Or is there will be any impact of old SOC codes?
2 do I need to get absence letter from my previous employer?
Your advice will be appreciated

A Phd level job is exempt from min earnings requirement BUT you must be making the min salary as per your current SOC code.
Other evidence like absences letter are required as normal !

Thank you mate.

Struggling to get any reply from old employer. Seems like they are really unhappy since I left

Is there any alternative considered?

Thanks for your initial advice.
