ILR limited company & permanent employment

Post by SGS » Sun Jan 27, 2019 3:31 am

Hi all,

I have a question regarding my ILR (5 year spouse route) which is due this November.

My husband is working as an IT contractor via his own limited company. Company is only few months old (setup on Oct 2018)

He is taking monthly salary via PAYE 20k/year and also taking dividend every month.

We are planning to claim income using his payslip to meet the ILR £18,600 financial requirement.

However, company tax return and his self assessment tax return (as director) will not be filled by that time as it is not on due until 2020.

My question is, do we need company tax return CT600 and self assessment tax return documents for the claiming period. i.e Nov 2018 to Oct 2019?

If it is must, can we file the company tax return before the actual anniversary date ? However we still not able to file the 2019-2020 self assessment until the end of accounting period. What we need to do in this case.?

If he secure a permanent position in a company where he is working as a limited company contractor or in some 'xy' company by April 2019 , he will have 7+ payslips by November in this case ( category A, working in a company more than 6 month) do we still need all company related documents ?

Please advise. Any reply would be highly appreciated.

Regards,
SGS

If he gets a permanent job and over £18600/year for FULL 6 months and 6 (or more payslips) that is fine.

If not you can apply under category B, but be warned, it takes LOADS of documentation (personal experience )
