I am on ILR
we have a 2 months old baby. What is the procedure to apply for her British passport
Does the baby needs to go through naturalisation process or can I apply directly to british passport

Pick up a form at the Post office and complete it then submit or apply online.

No need to register as British if the baby was born AFTER you got ILR. Apply for passport directly if this is the case.

I went to GOV website
I entered all baby's details

mom and dads details, mentioning dad on ILR

didn't fill grand parents marriage details,

took me to payment page of £54.
am I going in a right direction?
