UKVCAS (new service) delays?

Post by nadworks » Fri Feb 01, 2019 4:49 pm

I am failing to find out about the progress of my naturalisation process (EU national) with the relevant authorities.
Going through posted timelines here makes me increasingly anxious that something went wrong with the new service I used (I went to the Brighton Library popup, where staff had incredible problems with the system).

Since my UKVCAS appointment, almost 2 months have passed without ANY communication, letter of acknowledgement or email. However most timeline posts here give the impression that it shouldn't take more than one month in recent examples. Or rather, I was hoping to find the odd 2+ months processes being listed. Despite the suggested max. period being 6 months according to the HO website, I am a little worried, mainly because the biometric transmission process was so dodgy and less than re-assuring that it had actually gone through / been received by the HO.

Do I need to be concerned, or am I simply paranoid and should just chill out and keep waiting?

There has been no change to HO processing etc. It is only the submission process that has changed.

You simply need to wait to hear back from HO. It can take up to 6 months, sometimes longer.

We also have an existing new service experience topic.
