Spouse Visa Extension

Post by karim174 » Fri Feb 01, 2019 9:25 pm

Hi all, first time posting here, hope you guys can help

My partners first spouse visa renewal time is here.
She needs to submit her application by the 15th Feb 2019 (date of expiry on biometric). So we literally have 14 days until it expires.

Now here is the bit which I am now deeply concerned of.

I am showing two jobs to show my salary. When I say two jobs I mean my old job and my new job. I have 3 months of payslips from the old job and another 3 months of payslips from the new job where I'm currently working.

The amounts I received from my old jobs are:

Yearly salary 19200

1st Payslip Aug 2018:
Gross pay £1601.32

2nd Payslip Sep 2018:
Gross pay £1601.32

3rd Payslip Oct 2018:
Gross pay: £1601.32

Then on 1st Nov 2018 I left the job and started my new job.
And the amounts up to date are:

Yearly salary £26,000

1st Payslip Nov 2018:
Gross pay £2292.45

2nd Payslip Dec 2018:
Gross pay £2191.31

3rd (most recent) payslip Jan 2019:
Gross pay £3114.80

Now the big question is:
Are these 6 months of work history acceptable?

These are the only two jobs I have to prove my income. I have no savings.

I need to apply in less than 2 weeks time.

Hope someone can help.

If you are working in new job for less than 6 months then you need to prove two things

1) You are currently in a job where your annual salary meet your financial requirements of £18600. I assumed you have no dependent children applying with your partner

2) last 12 months earning including boht new and previous job equal or exceed financial requirement £18600

Thanks for the help,

We have 1 daughter born in UK.

So if I add all the amounts from the both jobs payslips, it totals to £12,402.52. So does that mean I won't meet the financial requirement? :|

How have you arrived at annual earnings of £12,402.52 :?: :?

so you have earned total £12,402 in two jobs from Jan/Feb-2018 to Jan/feb 2019 ?

You dont meet second part of requirement if last 12 months earning in boht job is less than £18600 and you are not adding any others source and just relying on salary
