Hi all,
Just wanted to say that I got my SET(LR) approval on the same day. I switched from Tier 1 Entrepreneur.
Application submission date: 25th January
Appointment date: 31st January at 7 am in 20 Mark Lane, London
Approval email sent to my lawyer: 31st January at 13:10 pm
Couldn't be happier. I was expecting long delays because I was on Tier 1 Entrepreneur and never expected a same day approval in a million years!
Good luck to everyone!
Hi Ali272,congratulations for your ILR can you please tell me when and how long you will be able to upload your PDF files?is it from The day you submit your application till the day of your appointment or is only 2 days before your appointment?
What is the early free appointment date you can get from the application submitted date in london?

I didn't upload my documents myself. The staff at the centre did. You can upload documents at anytime, even at the appointment day.
There was no free appointment availability for more than a couple of weeks, so I booked a premium lounge.

Has anyone else who did their biometrics between 24th-26th January still waiting for a response? I did my biometrics on the 25th Jan at 11:30am, and still waiting. I called to escalate it yesterday and only got an email that just said:
"We aim to complete all applications within the 24-hour service standard. However, where we are not able to do this we will complete the application as quickly as possible and where delays in making the decision are not the fault of the customer, the super priority service fee will be refunded."
They didn't say how long to wait to chase. Any suggestions? Should I just contact my MP or wait until Tuesday to chase again? This waiting is not helping my anxiety levels in the slightest.

I attended biometrics on 24th January, 7am @ Mark Lane and I am still waiting for a reply. I called up the helpline to escalate on 1st Feb and received a email with just a reference number in the subject line. The lady on the phone did tell me that due to moving to a new system there have been a lot of technical issues and they are trying to clear the backlog as soon as possible.

Following email ILR corfimation I got letter via royal mail of saying new BRP will be received in 7 days and old BRP no more valid need to return to the address.
We got the same letter and have returned our old and invalid BRP. It was less than a pound posting it back. You should wait for the new BRO before returning the old

Any Timeline and type of ILR etc... would be more helpful
Thanks

Hello you are not alone
Online application submitted : 16 november
Biometric submitted: Croydon office 14 december
No response yet other than generic email, even after escalating through phone, MP and compliants..
So it is just the matter of time, painful wait...

I applied for an ILR via Tier 2 (5 years rule), for me, my wife and child and here are my timelines.
Online Application submitted: 21 Jan 2019
Biometrics submitted at UKVCAS Premium Lounge, London: 28 Jan 2019
Still waiting to hear back. Will update once I hear anything.
Hope this helps.
Hi Jingaboys, did you receive any email/letter w.r.t progress on your application? We did biometrics on same date same centre so wondering if there has been any movement on cases from that day.

I have applied for my ILR on 17th Dec and submitted biometrics on 27th Dec at Manchester Library. Since then had multiple escalations without any result. I also contacted my MP, who was kind enough to call UKVI MP caseworker team and I was told my case is with a caseworker since Jan 9th.
Not really sure why it would take so much time considering my case was straightforward from Tier 2 to ILR on 5 year route with single Employer.
Anyone waiting since Dec??

My wife applied on 19th and also attended appointment for FLR(m) on 28th. Nothing yet.
We phoned after 24hrs to be told that the decision is taken in 24hrs but to give 5working days to receive letter.
That passed today and still nothing. Her current visa expires on 12th and, whilst we know her status is unchanged during application, her employer is asking on progress. And we have nothing to show that we actually attended the appointment...
On the phone to UKVI now to try and get something more but letter to MP (email) will be sent this evening.

Did she receive an email stating application was received? She can show her employer that.

Only email we have was when she submitted electronically (before appointment) and paid. Nothing since.
We'll submit that and hopefully hr don't want to see something from home office saying it's still being progressed...

Can't seem to edit post so will post new as it may help.
On phone today UKVI said that they are still within their timeline. According to them 5working days start after the 24hr period to make a decision has ended. So technically, until tomorrow, they say they are within acceptable timeline.

I emailed my MP this morning. Let's hope it helps. Different MPs tend to have different levels of interest in pursuing the cases with UKVI. Fingers crossed for now. Will call UKVI now and ask for escalation as well.
Have you written to the complaints email ID? They take 20 working days to reply so the sooner you mail them the better. That's one place where they don't send standard auto-emails. I emailed to this id last week.

Just the delay tactics. Their own interpretation of super priority service. If somebody is aware, can you please share the text in their super priority where it states the 5 day SLA and that it starts 24 hour after submitting application? Absolutely ridiculous of winging it with these processing time rules as they deem fit

HI DGTIND,
I have applied for my wife dependent visa on Priority service and done the biometric on 22nd Dec.
I had made 2 escalations so far and nothing happened. Just been told to wait.
Not sure contacting the MP does make any difference. Whats your opinion on this.?
Do you think we can get the Priority Service Fee Refund ?
Wish I had posted the application and not wasted my money on this
Regards,
Raj

Just report my finished case of super priority service.
Attended service centre at Glasgow and paid for the super priority service. Contacted UK VI almost every week and only got standard reply.
Initially I though I have to wait for 6 months even paid for so called super priority service fee. Confirmation letter finally came on 1 Feb (card not arrived yet), almost two months after application.
Good luck for other applicants, especially for those long-waiting super priority service users.

Congratulations on receiving confirmation letter? Did you not receive any email and directly received the letter by post? 2 months must have been a painfully long wait!! Hope you also get refund of the super priority fees, their service is anything but super priority.

I have received a standard reply today after my first escalation on friday.
Thank you for contacting UKVI Contact Centre.
We aim to complete all applications within the 24-hour service standard. However, where we are not able to do this we will complete the application as quickly as possible and where delays in making the decision are not the fault of the customer, the super priority service fee will be refunded.
I have now emailed my MP hoping to get a decision ASAP.

Hi Luni,
Did you receive any correspondence from UKVI? I had one on 10th Jan suggesting that they are looking at outstanding applications and would complete by January.
