I applied for naturalisation in 2018. I received a letter today stating that I need to explain how I supported myself during that time that was not here legally or else my application will be refused. To be honest I thought they will automatically refuse it but now there is a tiny bit of hope. Anyone received such a letter? My short story: arrived 2002 and claimed asylum which was refused in 2008. So no contact with ho till dec 2010 when I made fresh claim. Dlr to issues 2012 and then 2015. Ilr granted in July, 2018. Naturalisation application in October 2018( married to BC) so didn’t have to wait for 12 months
Thank you
