Extension of Tier 2 without dependents

Hello

I hold a tier 2 visa valid until 14 January 2020,my wife and my daughter also have T2 dependent with same expiry date.

I got a new job and now will switch to another employer, for me I know it's mandatory to change the visa but I want to know if can I change only my visa now and keep my dependents till 2020.

Dependents do NOT have to apply with you if you change employers.
