work visa information for austria

hi guys..i need to know what i need to get a work visa to austria..also what documents does my employer in austria need to show?i go there to work for 1 year..is it possible that on austrian work visa i can work anywhere in the schengen countries..like i can go to italy and work there on the austrian work visa
please clarify my questions and give me proper suggestions

You'll need a firm offer of a job from an Austrian employer.

Your Austrian employer will have to prove to the Austrian authorities that an Austrian or EU national with the required qualification could not be found and therefore he was being forced to hire you.

With an Austrian work visa, you can work only in Austria. You cannot work in any of the other schenegan countries, although you can freely travel to them and stay for up to three months without a visa.
