I am surprised they have not communicated with you, but I don’t think there should be any issues any way. You can however try and call HO customer service just to put an effort.

I think this is why some people are opting for existing service since they have tested that before, the online service is however much easier.

Hmm...I am not worried. I have the case ID number. I dont think its an issue. Online service should ideally be more efficient.

Just an update to my case:

I believe I had already provided 104 weeks of evidence with my application but just to be on the safe side (rather the regret later) I have posted my Jan 2019 FPS and salary slips today also.

So now I have provided them evidence for 1st Jan 2018 - 31st Jan 2019 (13 months).

That’s fine, but you were already ok with 12 months. CW will not work outside the rules.

No cz i applied on the 1st Jan 2019 so I did not even want to take risk for 1 day plus the way my salary slips cut off date is 5th of every month, my gut feeling said to send so i did, just to be on the safer side.

@bizman

I was actually going through your previous history and got to know your extension was approved very quick.

I can see that you relied on many months having 120 hours/month as FT.

Are you still relying on 120 hours/month for ILR or have you changed that to 130 hours/month??

Thanks

Some were however 130hrslmonth during my extension time. Think about 6 months. In all the acco7ntant calculated the number of hours and ensured it was exactly as required by the rules. I submitted 13 months employee payslips each

My accountant has actually mixed the monthly and weekly payroll. The salary slips are made monthly but he follows the weekly payroll.

He considers Friday as week start and employee is paid up until last Friday of the month at the last day of every month.

Week ENDS 29th Dec 2017(Friday) & 39th week of the accounting year 2017-2018 starts on 30th Dec 2018 (Saturday)

My claim is from 1st Jan 2018 (starting between week 39-40, year 2017-2018)

Jan 2018 employee paid for 4 weeks@ 30hours total 120 hours (30th Dec 2017 to 26th January 2018)

Feb 2018 employee paid for 4 weeks 120 hours (27th January 2018 - 23rd Feb 2018)

March 2018 employee paid for 5 weeks@ 30hours 150 hours (23rd Feb 2018 - 30th March)

and so on......

Week ends 29th Dec 2018 (Friday) week 39 ends of accounting year 2018-2019
.
.

Claim till 31st Dec 2018 (between week 39-40 of accounting year 2018-2019)

Total 52 weeks {week 39.5 (2017-2018) to week 39.5 (2018-2019)}

Total 3120 hours

As per the above my 8 months have 120 hours (paid for 4 weeks)
and 4 months have 150 hours (paid for 5 weeks)

But my salary slips DONT mention the time period they only mention the month “Jan 2018” or “ Feb 2018” and so on.

Although my accountant has provided a separate weekly breakdown to ease the situation but he has actually mixed the monthly and weekly payroll! 🤯

But I am relying on the above. Fingers crossed. 🙏

What do you think??

Thank you

I think it’s ok as you achieved 52 weeks, however did you mention it in your cover letter just to ,ale it easy for CW. Also your accountant should have written a letter too just to confirm your position. They always appreciate the confirmation of professionals.

All in all don’t think there should be any problem, the only challenge is the CW will have to match weekly payroll to monthly payslips, that could have been sorted by a cover letter and possibly the accountant letter so it will be a simple and straightforward submission. Complex application always take time.

Actually I used the same logic at my extension but I sent them 14 months of evidence then. I am not sure if they approved me on 120 hours for 14 months that is greater than 3120 hours or the weekly basis logic. Cant be sure.

This time, I relied on exact 12 months. I am anxious due to the fact what if HO only takes 120 hours for 12 months (and ignore my 30 hours from 150 hour payslip (in access of 120) I will be short of 120 hours. My 4 months have 150 hours so 30*4= 120 hours shortfall)

That is the only reason why I sent my Jan 2019 FPS. So I could rely on 13 months. Incase they want to count only 120 hours still I would be 3120 hours in total.

But one of my employee went part time in Jan 2019 so they might not count it (so lets discard that)

So today I sent them Feb 2019 pay slip also 🤦‍♂️

Now I have sent them 14 months of payslips.

If they only count as follows:

Employee 1 for 14 months 120 hours 1680 hours
Employee 2 for 12 months 120 hours 1440 hours

so total will be 3120 hours.

Fingers crossed 🙏
