Dependent visa extension after dependee obtained citizenship

Hi,

My wife arrived in the UK in the month of May, 2015 on Tier-2 General dependent visa since then I got British citizenship. Her current visa is getting expired in May 2019.

What are my options? Can the visa be extended in the same category or do I have to apply in a different category?
If we need to apply in a different category, does it change her ILR application process when she becomes eligible?
