Spelling Mistake in Company Name

Post by Arun211 » Tue Feb 19, 2019 11:00 am

Hi,

I recently set myself a government's gateway ID to view all my tax records with HMRC. I have noticed that there is a spelling mistake in my company name in HMRC's record (it's just one word , "S" instead of "F").

Please can someone advice how this could have happened? and what would be the remedy?
Also, Most importantly , will there be any impact on my ILR application due to this?

Cheers

Do you get P60 from your employer? I take the company name and your details are what is fed to HMRC yearly.

Hi ,

Yes, I do receive yearly P60 and details are correct on P60, payslips etc... Its just on this HMRC record via gateway. I happened to notice this accidentally now. All other details are correct.

Please advise, Will this create any issue for ILR?

Cheers

You are overthinking. This is not an issue.
