No confirmation after submiting application

I applied through UKVCAS over a month ago giving my biometrics as well at the same time and the staff there had told me that I would receive a confirmation email in a few days that my application has been sent. I haven’t received any email or anything as yet, just wondering if this is normal or should I have received something by now?

I was told that I will not receive any email. You will just get an approval letter in the post if HO doesn't have any queries.
What date did you apply? Many People are currently receiving 5-6 weeks after their biometrics date so if its been a month then you should receive it soon.

Had the appointment on 30th Jan but had submitted the online application a couple days before

In that case , just hang on for a bit. I know how you feel , one feels restless until you hear something but i think it will take Minimum 4-5 weeks after biometrics
