Do I need a marriage license

Do I need a marriage license

Hello. I just wanted to double check something. I am a UK citizen marrying an Indian citizen in India this year. I know that when two UK citizens are getting married abroad they need a license for marriage. Do I need a marriage license for marrying someone from India if I am a British citizen and he is an Indian citizen? I don't think I do but I wanted to double check.

You need to find the local (Indian) requirements for marrying. It has nothing to do with the UK...
