Edit of RLMT Ad

Post by adityansingh » Tue Feb 26, 2019 12:33 pm

Dear Experts

I have managed to get another job by another employer and they advertised for RLMT. The ad wasnt upto home office guidelined so they edited it later

Just wanted to ask if the home office would mind that ? can they actually check ?

The advert now is right and it states the original date of posting as the advert date - should that be ok ?

What was wrong with the initial advert?

If they have changed the ad, they need to Rlmt again.

To meet the RLMT the amended advert would have to have run for 28 days AFTER it was amended. If that did not happen it has not met RLMT.
The Home Office has access to the government job web site and if they so choose can establish if there was an amended advert. What are the chances they do that in this case - no idea, bUt it is a risk. If you want to gamble by all means but if it is discovered it is you that losses out.
