Thanks for the quick response.alterhase58 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 31, 2018 11:49 amShould be 2007 - whilst it wasn't your intention at the time but you still stayed on.
As alterhase58 says, I would put 2007 when you arrived as a student. The golden rule with any applications is to keep your responses consistent between your applications.terriblescream wrote: ↑Mon Dec 31, 2018 12:55 pmThanks for the quick response.alterhase58 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 31, 2018 11:49 amShould be 2007 - whilst it wasn't your intention at the time but you still stayed on.
Anyone else with any other views?
Thanks Ancestor, so on ILR the question was "6.1 When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based"Ancestor wrote: ↑Tue Jan 01, 2019 2:27 pmAs alterhase58 says, I would put 2007 when you arrived as a student. I entered as 2013 because my application was based on Tier 2, hence my question.
and I think this falls under the section where they say, unless I have it confused:-When did you first arrive in the UK?
where they are making sure you comply with the 5+1 or 3+1 yrs absences? You must not have:
• spent more than 270 days outside of the UK in the 3 year period, or 450 days in the 5 year period
• been outside the UK for more than 90 days in the last 12 months
• been in the UK illegally in the 3 or 5 year qualifying period

p.s. please do not start a new topic with each question you have!! Stick to ONE thread (this one).
