Immigration Health Surcharge form does not have ILR option

Post by dheeraj1025 » Thu Mar 07, 2019 1:06 pm

I am on ILR and my wife is applying for Tier 2 Dependent PBS extension.

On paying the health Surcharge online form asking for my visa route and details. I could not able to see ILR option there All I can see is:
  • Discretionary Leave
Further Leave to Remain - FLR
Further Leave to Remain Human Rights and Other claims – FLR(HRO)
Further Leave to Remain Immigration Rules – FLR(IR)
Further Leave to Remain Other - FLR(O)
    PBS Dependant (Tiers 1, 2 and 5)
    Tier 1
    Tier 2
    Tier 2 PBS Dependant
    Tier 4
    Tier 5
Which option i need to fill in?

Tier 2 visa, so select the route, which is what you have followed to ILR!!

Thank you.

What Vista type I need to select - Tier 2 up to 3 years or Tier 2 over 3 years.

As I have applied for extensions 2 times and always up to 3 years but the total stay is 5 years.

Your spouse will get a 3 year validity visa.

It's costing me 2400 GBP why is that, I am expecting 1200 isn't?

Somewhere on the pbs dependent form online for it has a question about ILR. And you put your expiry date as 3 years from now and not 2024.

But that is false information right?

I have given my IHS number and Tier 2 Expiry date and now its showing 0.00 GBP

At least this is the right information. All the information i have given here is correct.

It is NOT!!! HO is aware of this glitch in the system and many have done this and had approvals.

You cannot use your Tier 2 details as they are no longer relevant.

Do as you wish. Failure to pay £1200 per applicant IHS will result in a refusal.

I don't mind paying what i owe, but I am not sure about sending wrong information. They cannot just refuse the application, instead, they should say there is a glitch and ask to pay £1200. I have submitted the application.

You are overthinking this completely. Everyone who has asked and done as we have suggested has been successful and had no issues. Some have even been advised by immigration advisors/lawyers to do it.

HO isn't going to come after you for putting a wrong date of your ILR expiry to get the correct dependent IHS especially when they are fully aware of this particular glitch on the system.

Also note that we cannot see the online forms, but there definitely is a question asking if the main PBS migrant holds ILR.
