I am not joking. The passport was issued in 2001 so all visas mentioned are in 1 passport. But yes, the visas were issued by BHCs in India and not by HO. But I guess the rules should be the same .. like they want same size (45*35) everywhere.

My partner who's just got HSMP extension only a week ago used the same photograph this time around that was submitted for initial FLR in 2006.

Strange, yes ... but true.

regards

Even if you are permitted to use same photo multiple times, I wonder how do they accept the photo of 2003 in 2007.

At least there is a requirement, the photo should be recent. I must say, the HO guys are really liberal in terms of photo. Are they stamped in different passports (old & new), by any chance.

Chakde No need to worry I guess. you will be getting your documents shortly. CW must have sent you a standard reply e-mail. For me no luck yet as I tried to call yesterday but could not talk to anyone. :(

CW might have sent a standard reply. As royal mail site is giving update - believe that one.

I kept waiting for 10 min twice but no one picked up the phone.. and since msotly they give a standard reply I am not so much inclined towards calling them.

Be patient Vipul1981, I applied on the 3rd of May, received by them on the 7th of May and still no reply. Everything was straightforward but still no reply.

I hope you get something this week and same for me :)

Hi Beever,

I applied for FLR (HSMP -->Tier1) on 30th April and still awaiting decision.

Just wanted to reassure that there are indeed other people out there, just like you, who are in the same predicament.

Goodluck to all of us.

Regards.

Thanks Vipul , lokesh

yes i am very optimistic you , beever and dev should get it this week.

Infact I was expecting to receive by this weekend but was surprised when CC told yesterday - its been sent !

I had a feeling since my CW was on holiday last week , nothing would have happened - i was wrong

It looks like my CW approved it same day when he received additional document ( section AA1)

summary of my story as below :
Applied from UK( WP to Tier 1 -Initial Application )
Applied on: April 29
Payment on: May 01
Ref. Letter received: May 2 ( letter dated 30th April)
Phone call from home office : June 2 - to email Section AA1
Decision / Approval Letter : June 2
Visa stamped on : June 12
Documents received on: June 17, 2008
Note : my caseworker was away from 9th June till 14th June , I assumed nothing will happen unless he returns on 16th June…but it appears he did approve same day when he first called me & received section AA1 ( via email to his direct mail id ). After my approval on 2nd june it has taken 8 working days for visa stamping ( 12th June ). It took 2 additional working days for dispatch ( 16th June ) . Received Documents on 17th June ( I had enclosed RM prepaid ).
