Volunteering on Fiancee visa

Charity shop down the road from me is looking for a volunteer for a couple of days a week.

Although it would be ideal for my Fiancee and save her sitting on her bottom watching Kashturi, Karam Apna Apna, et al all afternoon I am pretty sure she isn't allowed to volunteer on her visa.

I can't find what is defined as Work on the UK visa site - could someone point me in right direction please?

It would be classed as unpaid work so I wouldn't risk it.
