Spouse flight options

Post by Woodyd » Wed Mar 13, 2019 5:28 pm

Once a Spouse visa has been issued, can the spouse arrive in the UK on a one-way ticket? It seems a return will expire or she won't need it for a few years. Thanks

Yes

Buying return ticket is only wise when someone has the plan to travel back in near future due to being economical otherwise no need.

would you please share some details on your case history? When you applied, where you applied? It may help others to gauge the timeliness and give some relief to people like me who are waiting for visa.

Very happy and surprised it all happened so quickly. Thanks to all who helped us on this forum.

I would say that you should make sure ALL your documents are vigorously checked and well-organized before sending them. Make it easy for the ECO to process and things should go well... good luck!

That’s a fantastic turnaround and congratulations. My documents were well referenced and my wife’s Biometrics were taken three weeks after yours so I’m hopeful of a speedy response too!
