ILR (Long residence)

Post by khizarm » Sun Mar 24, 2019 11:59 pm

I want to get information about the qualifying period for 10 years ILR applications, that wether this period starts from the date of entry in the UK or does it start from the date of stamp of the visa on which the vissa was issued.
I have read somewhere that if the date of entry in UK is with in the 90 days after the vissa been issued then the qualifying period for 10years start from that date of issuance of visa. But on some other sources it has been told that that qualifying period start from the actual of date of entry in thenUK.
Please clarify the actual rule for the qualifying period that wether its from the date of issuance or from the date of entry in the UK.
Many thanks for the time spent whilst dealing with the request.

Yours faithfully,

Its always the date of entry & not when the leave was issued.
