British Passport expiring soon, any issue during travel?

Hi

Me and my 7 years old daughter are on British password with OCI card, where my daughter got OCI visa sticker on her passport as well.

I have booked tickets to Visit India in Jun (from 2 till 28th), and found last night that passport of my daughter is expiring in Sep.

Queries :-
1. Will there be any issue during my visit, as I know generally passport advisable to have validity for 6 months for oversea travel?

2. If I had to get passport renewed, Do I need to apply for OCI card as well? as her current passport has OCI sticker as well.

No issues with UK law, but there may be further requirements about passport validity required by Indian law.

There are no issues either place. OCI is a life long visa so you are legally able to enter even if you change your passport. A fresh OCI is for those below 15 and above 50 due to rapid facial changes in that group.
UK will accept its citizens even with an expired passport.
