Renew annual COS allocation tier 2 extension

Post by bidibudi » Tue Mar 19, 2019 7:41 am

Hello First time here
i have been reading through and find that i am in a similar situation.

I am to renew my Tier2 in May 2019
company said they have applied to renew certificate since January and once this comes in they will issue me a COS (process i am not sure i know about)
and since January they have not heard back from HO
i have been on their tail and they just keep giving me assurance i will get it before my present Visa expire and this is mid March.

My second Question
my visa will only be for a maximum of two years
do i need to pay for my IHS for only to years or should pay for three years since the Visa is going to be up to three years or just pay choosing start and finish date which will be 2yrs.
please advise

If your CoS is for 2 years, Ihs is for 2 years. If it is for 3 years, Ihs is for 3 years.

Hello House,

Was with my sponsor today
And they confirm to me they will be issuing a COS to me this week.
Dose this take long before it comes out after they most have assign me one?

And have been reading somewhere on the tread, do i need to use this before the 5th of April if i am issued one this month.as the HO calendar year ends in April i presume.
wont the 3 months duration be applicable?

Thanks.

Your CoS is valid for 3 months to use once assigned to you. It will come out of the March CoS your sponsor has available.

You are overthinking a bit.
