flr fp extension

Post by gaveen1 » Fri Mar 29, 2019 11:48 am

Hi, i will be extending my flr fp(parent)under 5 years route. It is informally agreed with my ex. that my son(5) stays with me 2 nights a week. When i got my first flr fp(parent) , i was living in a 1 bed flat just myself and my son living there 2 nights a week. But now i have moved to shared house (3 bedroom) with 2 housemate( one of the housemate is a home owner). I have lodger agreement which also confirms my son can stay 10 days per month.
DOES my condition meets the Adequate accommodation set out in immigration rule ? And what documents will i need to prove that?
Many thanks

You will need a property inspection report to prove the accommodation is not overcrowded.

Thank you for your reply. So do i need inspection report only for myself or my son too? I can see Southampton council charge £185 for such report and £65 for additional person.

You need a property report for your property to prove it is not overcrowded. Your son is presumably NOT applying for a visa.

Thats right, he is not applying. Can i use any company that offers such service ? And does it have any time restrictions, such as it expires or gets no longer valid? Thanks

You can use the council or any estate agent or similar company.
