SET(M) ILR - allowed absence (no. of days) 5 year route.

Post by rstar60 » Fri Mar 29, 2019 9:12 am

Hi forum members,
I need some clarification - to quality for SET(M) ILR, how many days of absence (no. of days) outside of the UK are permitted under 5 year route?
Also, I tried searching SET(M) Guidance notes on gov.uk website, but no luck!
Grateful in advance for this clarification.
Thanks

US.

There is no absence limit for a spouse settlement visa holder.

Presumably you are only asking for info and not applying now on SET(M)?

Not applying yet! - however need to be clear on the absence thresholds for SET (M) so that we dont jeopardize our situation once my spouse completes her 5 years in UK. My wife 1st entered UK in Nov 2015, so we will be applying for ILR in Nov 2020 - we do go out and about from UK (on vacations, visits back home in Pakistan etc) hence want to understand the absence thresholds for SET (M) (if any)
