just called CC...she confirmed my Urgent Fax mail...but she refused to give anyfurther status....bit worried what decision been made

.....42 days gone but no status information from HO??????....

thanks - when we called, they said that it's been reviewing still by caseworker and will try to turn it this week but no guarantee. dont know what else i can do really..

ceediddy is right, make a different story this time as suggested - say you were told earlier its in final stages / to be sent ......I am sure you will not link up with same person you spoke last time.....so not harm in taking a chance !

thanks to all. Mine was HSMP to tier 1 extension. Its been realy nervous moments. Thanks to all an this wonderfull forum. Bever I would like to suggest u something. Call them and say u sent in a urgent treat form and would like to check if that has been attached to applic. Andthen when they r looking try to ask the status

BTW someone earlier had objections in writing Hindi in this forum , well I can assure everyone - when we write in hindi , we do not really write anything nasty about anyone .....after all we all are "highly skilled" + "tier 1 " profiles now and we know forum etiquettes !

do you mean that your previous Visa had expired on 12th June 08 ?

Nothing even as of now for me. I don't know why they are just keeping or documents even if it has gone through all the stages. I tried to call them but the same standard answer of 10 Wks. They say its ur 7th week only and hence won't update you about status.

When did you actually send your Section AA1 .....i am sure your approval letter will be of same date, its apparently the stamping and dispatch , which is keeping us guessing .........as per my calculation , you should get visa stamping around 8 working days of your email which you have sent + 2 working days for dispatch ...these assumptions are on the basis of our CW being same....and BTW he did respond to my email and also suggested I should send urgent treatment form if I want documents sooner...though I got the documents on the very same day he replied my email .

I did email him earlier asking a tenative timeframe to receive documents , and he replied he cannot confirm date but I should fax urgent treatment if required.......I could then conclude, he had already done his job on 2nd June ( approval ) and hence he had no information w.r.t when it was going to be dispatched

damn im getting worried minute by minute because the document has to be despatched today in order for us to catch the flight on saturday as our agent wont be opened on saturday...

will they normally let you speak to their manager? coz when called cc they are always so unhelpful

Hi, I got my Tier 1 visa today. While I was waiting for the result, this forum gave me a lot of help. Now, I post my experience to help others.

Type: From WP to Tier 1
Applied on : 7th May 2008
Recd by HO on : 8th May 2008
Passport Recd : Today (19 June 2008)
Application was approved on 10th June 2008
Visa issue date: 16th June 2008
Visa expire date: 10th June 2011
Processing time: exactly 6 weeks

Note: No urgent treatment requested.
