Tier1 entrepreneur to ILR pre April 2014 rule

Post by 111muhammadabd » Sun Mar 31, 2019 1:09 pm

Hi zimba and senior gurus

I was granted my initial tier 1 entrepreneur visa on 17th March 2014 and extension visa on 8th May 2017. I know i qualify to apply for ILR under 5years rule on 17th March 2019.

Can you please let me know if I HAVE to apply for my ILR before 6th April 2019 to be considered in transitional arrangement pre April 2014 category?? or can i apply in May 2019 befire my visa expires?

Thanks in advance

You have to apply before 6 April 2019 if you want to take advantage of the transitional arrangements

Have you started the online application form.
It would guide you on what you need to submit.
As per my understanding, applicants personal bank statement + payslips evidence is no longer a requirement within the application.

Do i need to do it as 6 jobs? Rather than 2 jibs and 3 employees per job?? A bit confused now.

Can you let me know if i can chose tier 1 migrant as category? Or should i change it to other and write tier 1 entrepreneur in space provided?

As you come under transitional arrangement...you may use this combination to keep it simple and i think its easier to do it this way on the online form. Regardless I did it so I believe you can as well. I listed 5 jobs.

Ask Tier11417. He's a pro on the online form. I went the postal route many moons ago.

Thanks, aman90

Will do.

One more question regarding my wife as a dependant.

Her IHS charge is coming as £200 only. I thought I need to pay £1200 for three years, But, it's asking about my visa category which is Tier 1 and Route which is Tier 1 Entrepreneur extension (2 years) and then visa expiry date that is 08/05/2019. when I complete all of this it's coming up with just £200 to pay. I am wondering if that is correct?

Please let me know if there is any other way of calculating and paying so I am not in trouble afterwards.

Thanks

Is she applying for extension or ILR? What date does her current visa expire? If its further in the future then put it on hold and sort yours out first.
Im sorry I've not dealt with dependants in my case.
Also a poster above mentioned a new specified document related to business activity that I was unaware of.
A cover letter for the below seems likely unless they've asked for something else in the online application form.
Thats my interpretation. Like a CV for urself and the company you run.

Part C-
(i) an overview of your business’s activity, including an explanation of the goods or services it provides to its customers or clients; and

(ii) your job title and job description, setting out your role within the company, how you are implementing your business plan and what your main tasks and responsibilities are in running the business on a day-to-day basis.

Thanks for bringing my attention to this otherwise I would have missed it. Regarding Business activity Online form asks for hmrc documentation and companies documentation as per policy guidance. Nothing specific mentioned. I will send them my CV and about us from company website. Do i need to send them self assesment?

Regarding my wife. Her visa expires on 8/5/19 as well that's why i think it will still be tier 1 dependant but if i wait for one more month i need to apply FLR which will reset her counter for ILR if you know what i mean. but now her ihs surcharge is coming as £200. Can someone else whose dealt with this before guide me please??..Like Zimba or CR001 or any senior gurus

Companies house documentation: Current Appointments Report (CAR) (the recent filling history page is a part of CAR also)

HMRC documentation: CT41G or CT600 or CT603. Best to send both CT41G and CT600 if you have.

Both the above are mandatory documents.

Your CV or any other document is not needed.

What is your wife's initial visa date?

You need to apply for a PBS Dependent extension before her visa expires. If your ILR fails, her dependent visa will also fail.

Put your expiry as 3 years ahead to get the correct IHS of £1200 or wait for HO to ask for the payment and hope you get the link to pay (many don't).

What expiry date are you currently putting in of your visa for her PBS dependent extension application?

So her visa expires in 08/May.
You need to submit ur application in the next 2 days.
My advice is to just focus on ur own application till you finally hit submit.
Get the sopra appointment whenever ur ready for uploading the documents..
if I’m not mistaken documents can be uploaded just before the biometric appointment.
Read and re read ur application by printing it( I guess)
And then submit..
you can start working on her application on 1st of May 2019..
in fact you can both get ur appointments together at Sopra.
But PLEASE focus on ur own right now!

As the previous user stated, you need to fully focus on your own application as your deadline for submitting is Friday and you are running out of time.

Worry about your dependent later in the month.
