Tier2 General ILR with Tier 2 dependents

Hi There

I have applied 6 years Tier 2 general. its about to expire on august 2019. but i'm planning to apply ILR now(passed 5years in tier 2), there is no issue on that. Problem is my wife came 2014 November as a tier 2 dependent her visa expire 2019 August. she can't apply ILR till November 2019. what visa she need to apply after august 2019.

Also i have a baby, born in uk march 2017. baby has visa(tier 2 dependent) till august 2019. Can she apply straight to Citizenship after i got ILR.

What date was your wife's visa initial start date in 2014?

Yes once you have ILR you can register child as british.

I didn't ask what date she came to the UK. I asked what date was her initial visa VALID from.

She can apply no sooner than within 28 days efore 6 November 2019.

if your dependent could not complete 5 years before their visa expires, you can still apply for another extension after getting ILR. But if you changed their VISA type then the 5-year clock will reset

Yes, she can apply for an extension. It will be a 3 year extension and you cannot choose a lesser time to extend.
