Hello Everyone,

I remember that a few months ago someone shared the Home Office Compliance questions list for both Employer and Employee.

Can someone please share that link with me?

We had a home office visit in the last week of November 2018. When are you going to have the visit? Are you an employer or employee?

I am currently on Tier 2. So i can only tell you what they asked me.

Background:
One person came to visit in the first week of Oct 2018 but as we had meetings/appointments etc and we were not available, he couldn't conduct the visit. Level 1 user asked for a visit by the end of Nov and he reluctantly agreed.

After that, Two people came on the day of the visit.

During the visit:
One person interviewed me and one person interviewed level 1 user.
List of questions:
Can i see your ID? I gave him driving licence. He accepted the ID but asked for BRP which I did not have at that time.
What is your full name? I gave him my name.
What is your address? I gave him my address.
When did you enter the country?
On which visa you entered the country? Tier 4.
What was the length of the visa?
What did you study during that period?
How long was the course?
Where did you study?
What was the name of the college?
What did you do after you finished studied? I applied for PSW
When did you applied for PSW?
What was the length of that period?
What did you do during that leave to remain?
What did you do once your PSW ran out? My employers sponsored me Tier 2 visa.
What was your job title for Tier 2? I told him my job title. But i changed my sponsor after 2 years to a new sponsor. so he asked me the following:
How did you find this employer? I told him i found the advert online
What is your job title with this sponsor?
What is your salary?
What are your duties?
Explain your duties?
Where you sit in the office?
How do you travel to the office?
How long does it take you to travel to office?
How do you get paid?
How frequent you get paid? Monthly
Please provide last three months of payslips and P60 for last year?
Please show what work you have done recently.

So above were the questions he asked me. He took my interview for an hour. The list of the questions gives an impression that the interview would be finished in 15 minutes but he was writing the question down on his official letter pad and writing my answers as well so it took him 1 hour.

They asked for all personnel files which we provided.
They asked Labour Market Test. Which we provided.
They asked for CVs for those candidates who were shortlisted before I was hired and interview notes which we provided.

I do not know what he asked from Level 1 user as he did not tell me.

They came at 10.00 and left at 1.00.

There is nothing secret or underhand with compliance visits. The guidance is published and the officers follow a fairly standard path to their visits.

Apologies for the delayed reply.

My employer maintained A status after the visit. It took them exactly 22 days to give the answer.
