Hi all,

My application was received by HO on the 25th of March, payment deducted 26th of March. No ref number received until today.
I called HO this morning for my ref. number. Had to change HR manager's contact details for employment verification.

According to the lady I spoke to (she was very kind), they are still working on February applications. One or two March applications might have slip through, but according to her they have not started on March yet.
She said to be patient and (quote) "that it will probably take another month or so..." (unquote), before we get an answer and that they were extremely busy.

The only positive is that I have my ref. number now (2575**) and that she confirmed my application has been assigned to a case worker.

As per the voice message (when called HO), the current processing date is 29th Feb 2008.
But as per the information provided in Trackitt.com, currently 4th march 2008 applications are under processing.

sk1979 is correct ...
I have not seen a large chunk of March HSMP application getting approval yet. (on Trackitt) There have been one or two March applications that have reached a decision, but they seem to have fallen through some cracks to have reached a decision (lucky them).

What confuses me is that Tier1 applications are reaching decisions even though the entire scheme of Tier1 started in April.

May be HO has reduced the number of staff working on HSMP and diverted them to Tier1 or HO is not to keen to speed up the last lot of HSMP ever.(i.e, March and April applications)

On the whole it is a painfully long wait which is totally unexpected/unplanned and unwarranted.

Hello,
Anybody got approval or any kind of news from HO.
My application was reached on 19th March,have reference number and now no news....
loosing my patetence.HO says they cant tell status for al=pplication less than 14 weeks.
What to do???
Please reply if anyone has approval.

Seems to me that we are going to wait much longer than 14 weeks.

The new message on BIA website:
Our service standard is that we will decide:
50% of applications within five weeks
90% of applications within 14 weeks.
Due to a high volume of applications received over the past few months, we are currently experiencing delays in the processing of HSMP applications. Regrettably, this has had an impact on our service standards. We are working to reduce the high volume of applications and to minimise these delays.
We are currently considering applications received on 3 March.
We will update this notice on a weekly basis.

I'm just wondering about all the February applicants that are also still waiting for answers. It's ridiculous. I would like to know what their reply is going to be when I call them after 14 weeks. I have two more weeks to go.

Any idea how much time it will take for us to hear from HO from the date posted on their website.

e.g. if they say they processing 7th March then when do we get to hear from them ? or receive our papers ?

From the looks of trackitt they certainly appear to be getting through March faster than February so thats good news.

Since I had arranged for courier pickup ...I received Email from HO saying decision has been taken and I can ask my courier to collect my documents.

Thant's great news. Please let us know as soon as you get your documents back, so that we can celebrate with you!!
For the first time in 4 months I feel more positive about waiting times.
I still have to wait a little longer as my application was only received on the 24th of March, but still there is new hope!

I got my HSMP approval after a long wait.

My details
Documets received by HO : 12th March 2008
Fee Debited : : 12th March 2008
Reference Number : 22nd march. recieved by email
Decision Made : 26th June 2008
Decision : Approved.(as confirmed by case worker via email as on 1st July)
Documents : Dispatched by HO on 1st July.

Hey March applicants.... I got my approval too.

10th March 2008 - DHL Courier left New Zealand
13th March 2008 - DHL delivered
13th March 2008 - Credit card charged
14th March 2008 - Official receipt of application (date in email received from HO)
22nd March 2008 - Reference number received via email from HO
01st July 2008 - Approval received (Had to call HO to know decision)

Yet to receive documents.

Hey,

Mee too got approval

12th March 2008 - FedEx Courier left India
17th March 2008 - FedEx delivered HO
Reference number received after calling HO to know the receipt of application.
03rd July 2008 - Approval date (Had sent email on 4th July to HO to know decision)
Documents are posted thru AirMail, yet to receive.

Today I came to know that my HSMP is approved. I am going for EC in a week or so.. All the best to others....
