Some common questions which Indian Tier 1 applicants have:
1. Where did you apply from? (which VFS office)?
Hyderabad
2. What documents did you submit?
- * VAF9A & 9B, HSMP approval letter
* Maitainence of funds
* latest 6months pay slips and bankstatement
* Experience letter from employer
* All academic certificates
* Accomadation proof
* Job advertisement for my skills
* Docs submitted for HSMP
3. What doument did you submit for maintenane requirement?
- Was it a single savings account or a joint account?
- If joint account then did you submit a authorisation letter from other holder?
- * I have submitted Fixed Deposited of worth 4lakhs, FD of 75K from another bank and PF statement from current employer
4. Did you show any accommodation proof? Job proofs?
- * I have submitted the 2weeks hotel booking
* Printout of Job opening which suits my skills from the UK jobs site
5. How did you check status of your application in between?
- * called to embassy and check the status
6. Any other experiences and points worth sharing with this forum ?
- * There was no clarity whether Fixed deposit is accepted or not my case i have shown only FD's for my maintenance of funds
* Make sure the letter from the bank for the FD's clearly mentioned the dates and account number and name
