PBS Tier 2 Partner Extension

Post by fawadazam123 » Wed Sep 26, 2018 9:52 am

I'm a PBS Tier 2 Partner and the main applicant (my wife) is now on ILR.

Questions:
- Can I apply for extension on the same PBS Partner route? (as suggested by UKVI call centre)
- Is the main applicant still considered as if they still have PBS Tier 2 even if they now have have ILR? (In other words, is the Dependent still considered a continuing Dependent of a Tier 2 Migrant?).
-On the application form its asking for "Sponsor licence number", ("You can find this information on dependent's CoS or CAS statement. If you provide this number, it will help us to link your applications together")
Is this main applicant's employer COS no?

Is there a guide on how to apply with suggestions of supporting documents on this forum? if so please can someone please share a link?

Thanks,
FD

Yes, provided your wife got ILR from 5 years Tier 2 and not ILR based on long residence.
- Is the main applicant still considered as if they still have PBS Tier 2 even if they now have have ILR? (In other words, is the Dependent still considered a continuing Dependent of a Tier 2 Migrant?).
YOU are the main applicant for a PBS Dependent visa on the PBS dependent visa form.
-On the application form its asking for "Sponsor licence number", ("You can find this information on dependent's CoS or CAS statement. If you provide this number, it will help us to link your applications together")
Is this main applicant's employer COS no?
Which application form are you looking at specifically??

Sorry, I meant they are asking for a Sponsor licence number/COS no from my sponsor (my wife). Will we have to get this reissued from her employer?

Sorry I a bit confused. Its not allowing me to move forward with the (PBS Partner) application until I enter a Sponsor Licence Number. Any idea why ?

Sorry, we don't have access to the online forms so cannot see what you are seeing.

You should also apply 'alone'.

Early application of PBS Dependent Extension?

Post by fawadazam123 » Wed Sep 26, 2018 2:42 pm

Hi All,

Just a general question.

Is it possible to apply early for extension of PBS Dependent? (example 3-4 month before expiration)

Kind regards,
FD

Yes. However, be careful of applying too early, if it unnecessarily prevents the applicant from applying for ILR in-time in the future.
