Sorry to disturb you , but is it must to write a cover letter , I never did write one and if I do , it has to be long one because I’ve been in the UK 8 years and I have long story !! I have been refused in 2017 etc

If you have your ex id and he signed then you don’t necessarily need to explain anything. I wrote a cover letter because the circumstances weren’t straightforward for me.

Hi everyone, just an update on my case. I got a letter saying my pr card will come in 10 working days. The date I should have acquired permanent residency was 12th december 2016. Thank you to everyone on immigration boards for their help and advice.
