Copy of TB test should be fine. Your copy of passport won't be needed.viseasypeasy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 4:00 pm
Also, am I right in thinking that my fiance will need a TB certificate and notarised copies of my passport to enter the UK? Is there anything else?
Ok, thanks. Do you have any ideas in the first question? The TB certificate is one of the documents we’re waiting to get back. I’m guessing we could just get another one done?seagul wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 7:31 pmCopy of TB test should be fine. Thank you. So in the next application (the one we'll make once the six months is up/we're married) will we need to provide evidence of cohabitation?seagul wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 12:44 pmWhen you will switch into the first stage of spouse visa from fiancee visa then you won't need the 2 years of proofs of cohabitation but will need almost the same documents as were attached with fiancee visa.
However, after 2.5 years when you will extend the spouse visa then you will need to attach the 2 years of proofs of cohabitation which can include anything apart of utilities bills as long as they have your names & addresses on it. These documents need to be either 6 (if joint) or 12 (if individually named) and should be from at least 3 sources.
No. Any recent proof of address should be fine.viseasypeasy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 2:52 pmThank you. OK - so I'm guessing that applies to both me and her? And will be stuff like utility bills etc?seagul wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 5:12 pmNo. Any recent proof of address should be fine.viseasypeasy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 2:52 pmThank you. Any recent item (even other than utility bills) with address and in joint or individual names should be fine.viseasypeasy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 5:21 pmOK - so I'm guessing that applies to both me and her? The letter that come along with BRP card must state this requirement and if it hasn't been mentioned on it then maybe she not need to register with police.viseasypeasy wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 1:21 pmHi all,
My fiancé has arrived on the six month spouse marriage visa. Does she need to register with the police? The online guidance is quite unclear.
Thanks! She doesn't have a BRP as she's only entitled (at the moment) to stay in six months.I think I'm right in saying that she'll get that once we're married and extend her visa. The only document we got from the HO was the vignette, which doesn't say she needs to register. I'm guessing they would tell us if she did need to?seagul wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 2:25 pmThe letter that come along with BRP card must state this requirement and if it hasn't been mentioned on it then maybe she not need to register with police.viseasypeasy wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 1:21 pmHi all,

Also be informed that spouse/fiancee/unmarried partners of settled or British citizen are exempted from registering with police.viseasypeasy wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 2:31 pmThanks! Only certain nationalities and certain visa categories have to register with police. She would have been told in a letter or on her visa if this was required.
When you’re exempt
You don’t need to register with the police if you have permission to live permanently in the UK, or are a family member of an EEA citizen.
You also don’t need to register if you’ve got permission to stay in the UK as:
a seasonal agricultural worker
a private servant in a diplomatic household
a minister of religion, missionary or member of a religious order
the partner (spouse, fiancé(e), civil or unmarried partner) of a person settled in the UK
a person with access rights to a child resident in the UK
the parent of a child at school
someone who’s been given asylum
Yes it will definitely work. Also try to attach council tax/any utility bill in joint name if possible (its optional)viseasypeasy wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 6:54 pmDo you think that this, coupled with a signed letter from the landlord explaining the situation and adding that she can be added to the tenancy agreement once she has the two-and-a-half year marriage visa, will satisfy the HO?
Safest will be to provide 12 months of payslips and corresponding bank statements.viseasypeasy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 7:34 pmHi there,
As discussed earlier on in this thread, my soon-to-be-wife and I will be applying to switch a fiance visa into a spouse visa next month. I've been employed by the same company for the past year and a half, but in the past month or so they've "rebranded". The name on the branding has changed (I don't want to give away which company it is, but the change is effectively to abbreviate the name and add 'media' at the end), as has the company logo, but the actual company name on payslips is the same. If I provide a letter explaining this change, will that be sufficient? Or could it be a potential issue?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Has the name of the legal trading entity changed? If not, the branding alone is irrelevant.viseasypeasy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 7:34 pmHi there,

Thank you! The name of the trading company hasn't changed, so even though the branding on my payslips has changed, the company name has stayed the same and matches up with the employment contract I signed 18 months ago. I was going to get my employer to write a letter confirming that my employment details- if I got them to mention the branding change in there, do you think that would be sufficient?KristianDLloyd wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 9:31 pmHas the name of the legal trading entity changed? Provide a letter on letter-headed paper to accompany your payslips, having your HR team explain this rebranding. This letterhead will no doubt have the new branding.
Further, there is a legal requirement in the UK for letterheads to include the registered (or legal trading entity) name together with registered company number and registered trading address. This will all match up.
This, combined with the letter, should be sufficient.
If all payslips look identical, don't mention the branding change. If not, it would do no harm for your HR team to mention that the company branding has changed.viseasypeasy wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2019 5:41 pmThank you! Also, it is suggested in the comment above that I could provide 12 months worth of payslips. Out of interest, why would that make a difference to the situation? I'm not disputing it, I'm just curious.
