Dear Members,
I received an email from INIS through my solicitor. They INIS have informed that there will be a ceremony in June 2019. Is it possible? The detail is given below. I applied for the Irish citizenship as a spouse of an Irish citizen in July 2018. In October we received a letter from the department stating that the application has been proceeded to stage 2. Since then no correspondence. We asked the solicitor to contact them and today the solicitor has forwarded this email to us from the Department of Justice and Equality. The contents of the email are given below
Having contacted officials in the Citizenship Division we can confirm that
their checks have now been completed and pending minister approval, they
expect the applicant to be invited to the June ceremony.
Applicant will be contacted, in writing, as soon as a decision has been
reached.
We trust this is of assistance.
It is important that they have mentioned about June ceremony. Is there any chance of June Ceremony? Please advise. Previously, if you remember, the Department of Justice have arranged the citizenship ceremony in September 2018 in Dublin, and this was not advertised on their website. Is there going to be same scenario fro June 2019 ceremony? Did any one else has received the same email?
I look forward to your valuable comments and suggestions.
