eligibility and prove of living

Post by tbbcuk » Fri Apr 19, 2019 3:55 am

Dear Member:

My wife has just got her ILR via 5 years route (married to British Citizen)

(1) is it right that she has apply citizenship right now without waiting for another year?

(2) Does she need to provide proof of living in last 5 years, eg council tax bill, gas bill, bank account etc, or just Passport and Biometric will be sufficient?

(3) When ask about previous immigration history, she will need to tell them all, incl ILR application, FLR and very first spouse visa application which done abroad? ie 3x history?

thank you all for kind assistance.

Review the guidance: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... ooklet.pdf
(1) is it right that she has apply citizenship right now without waiting for another year? Correct, if she satisfies all the requirements.

(2) Does she need to provide proof of living in last 5 years, eg council tax bill, gas bill, bank account etc, or just Passport and Biometric will be sufficient? Passport(s) with stamps in/out are sufficient. Also LITUK, English B1 required. AN isn't a repeat of ILR, i.e. different law and requirements.

(3) When ask about previous immigration history, she will need to tell them all, incl ILR application, FLR and very first spouse visa application which done abroad? ie 3x history? Correct.
