Spouse visa extension-employment finished last week

Post by dulce03 » Fri Apr 19, 2019 2:33 am

Hi all,

I'm applying for spouse extension visa (ILR dependant).
I've been working until April 8th 2019. Now I'm searching for a new role. I have been with this employer for 5 months and previous role was 1.5 years.

As of now, I believe my status is unemployed until I get a new job.

There is no option for this as it shows either employed or cash savings or benefits or so.

Can you please help me how to solve this.

Many thanks in advance

Also,
First job - £32,000 per annum
Second job - £43,000 per annum

Please help me if this is okay or is there anything that should be considered as I'm currently unemployed now. But I'm going to get a new role soon.

Try to find new job asap and apply under category B. Or if your partner is working and earning sufficiently then his/her income can also be used to meet the financial requirement.

Thanks for the response.

Yes, I can add my partner's financials as he earns above £40k.

He is the director of a limited company.
He doesn't have pay slips.

What documents should be submitted in this case?

Also, I'm going to attach my bank statements showing that I'm working in UK for the past 2 years with my bank statements. That might be of help.

Regards

Also, as a part of my employment proof, can I submit bank statements to show the monthly salary as I am still yet to get my payslips from the recent job.

If your partner is earning above £18,600 then simply apply with those earnings only.

Do not over complicate matters with your unnecessary extra payslips, statements, savings etc as they wouldn’t be required. The more documents you add, the higher chance of a refusal for the wrong reasons.

Other members can advise what evidence is needed as a director as I think it’s not same as being in salaried employment.

Thanks for your advice. It was really helpful.

I'll wait for someone to advise the documentation for my husband's financial requirement who is getting paid through a limited company (self-employed)

The Appendix 1.7 is useful to understand what HO expect to see for self employed income.

Thank you very much for the response.

On the website, it is asking for pay slips covering last 12 months. But my husband have only last 4 months payslips from January. But he can get the employment letter and bank statements to prove this.

Is this okay to provide only 4 months of recent payslips? Those cover financial requirement threshold.. like it's around £19k.

My visa is going to expire in 10 days. Please help me.

Thanks in advance.

Also, can I not apply with only my statements as I am employed for around 23 months until April 2019. Right now, I'm attending interviews. I'm into IT field. Please suggest if any.

Many thanks

Actually, my husband got paid through umbrella company until December 2018. It was a loan scheme paid through an umbrella company until Dec 2018. He does not have appropriate payslips until Dec 2018.

Since December, he is on a payroll. The P60 which he received shows gross income of £16,758. This corresponds to the gross income received after he was put on the payroll since December 2018.

He has got stocks worth £35,000.

Can he provide documentation for the following:

1) P60 income - £16,758
2) employment letter
3) stocks and shares - £35,000

Will this be enough for the application or should he be getting a letter from an accountant for the period before being put on the payroll?

Many thanks

stocks and shares income considered as non employment income , Accountant report would need as supporting document.
