thanks for updatingCalvinKlien wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 10:13 pmMy wife applied as a spouse Irish citizen in Jan 2017 and no reply so far. We fulfill every clause but not sure why its over two years and still there is no sign. We should all write to our TD's that no matter what there should be a decision within 6 months. The waiting is absolute pathetic...
Congrats Anira. I am still waiting for final approval as well after 1 year and 5 months in the waiting. Very frustrating process. Anything else I can do on this issue? Any suggestion is highly welcome.
Hi, I know how frustrating the waiting is. My suggestion is to ask your TD to raise a Parliamentary Question with the Minister like this one: https://www.oireachtas.ie/en/debates/qu ... 01-31/105/danielmensah wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 4:10 pmCongrats Anira. I think our applications of 2017 timelime were processed that time for either to be batched to the ministry for approval or to be processed into second stage or to be looked at for something (I am assuming).danielmensah wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 4:04 pmI applied since December 2017 and got my first letter which is acknowledgement letter on the 2nd of January 2018. I have contacted them severally and got the letter that my application had proceeded to 2nd stage March 2018. Ever since, I have been contacting them and even went to one of our local TDs for assistance same response which is still under processing and some cases might take longer than required.
The last letter I got from them says they didn't any further documents from me and that they will get in touch soon that was dated February 2019. This is absolutely frustrating. I made my application since December 2017 and no final decision being made. The 29th of April 2019 ceremony is gone now looking for 30th September 2019 and December 9th. Is this how someone is going to continue waiting till eternity?
Please anyone with a suggestion on what next to do on this issue. I had to renew and paid 300 euro for GNIB so that I can travel.
Any suggestion is highly welcome.
Thanks
What time did you rang this morning? I couldn't get them after so many calls? Also I see you posted this around 9:27AM they usually open by 10AM, don't they?aneelrahim wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 10:27 amEvery week I call them on Tuesday and Thursday and I get different response.
Sometime on Tuesday they said it is not submitted to minister yet and on Thursday same week they said it is already submitted to Minister and vice versa.
Today they told me it is not submitted and last Thursday they told me its already submitted. Is this happens to anyone else.
Today phone line is not too busy as I get the call after few minutes.
He called at 10.27am. You need to change your time zone setting for the forum.nlassai wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 1:02 pmWhat time did you rang this morning? I couldn't get them after so many calls?
