spouse visa £62,500 savings

Post by faiz86 » Sun Apr 21, 2019 1:21 pm

hello ,

i am going to apply for my wife visa .
i am on ILR.This is my scenario .
* £52,000 in bank in one account which was of a gift by my parents

* £11,000.00 from my salary as a director of company which i am sole director and owner .

total £ 63,000.00

above amount is in account for the past 6 months .

i read that i can’t combine the salary of self employment and savings together.

pls advice me if i qualify on the above scenario to apply for my wife’s spouse visa .

Many thanks in advance .

7.1.3. Category D: Cash savings cannot be combined with self-employment income, or with income from employment as a director or employee of a specified limited company in the UK, under either Category F or Category G
Yes they cannot be combined. You either need to have 6 months old savings of £62500 or yearly income of at least £18600.
