Sorry to hear about your first refusal. To understand better...May I ask what was the basis of refusal ???
What reason were given in Refusal Letter ???

Regarding processing time,as per HO...if you have opted for priority service processing time is 30 WD but no strict rule it can go anywhere upto 120 days or even more depending on your case.

Incase, you opt for standard service 60 working days it takes but again it, can go upto 120 days also or more.. all depends on your case and it's circumstances.

So considering that your application is just two weeks old..... there is lot of time left before the final stage.

Given your husbands complicated history with HO, you might be in a long wait.

Note there was no rule change in 2016 when he last applied within the UK. He was an illegal migrant and in a shortish unmarried relationship with you at that time. It is useful to post a bit of history to avoid members asking you the same questions again.

Hi Rockinglove

We must understand, that they are just a mediators nothing in their control, they can just tell you current status...by checking in some software made available to them with very limited access.

They neither have any authority nor can control processing time. If there is no update in software by H. O then.... they will tell you same status again.

They gave me same reply at the time of escalation that H.O should contact me with in 15 days so no use sending mail before that. We can only wait.

Don't worry even if they soton call bak. It wont effect ur case. I heard from alot of people that they got call and they missed it and then they got decision.

Dear Khayrulewara !can u plz tell me how your husband renewed his passport when it got expired and was with embassy.as passport office required orignal passport for renewal .

They will let u know themself. If they r giving him a Visa they will ask for u to renew passport and give bak in. But if they r not giving Visa they wont ask for new passport and just give u ir paperwork bak with refusal.

After 14 months i received a call from embassy for biometric again .i dnt know why they are asking for biometric again .do anyone have any idea about this ??

They asked my husband to do his bio again too. They normally do that coz they will give Visa but not too sure. As mine they refused anyway. And coz it has been so long they liked to renew. Hopefully it will b gd news for u.

Yeah but as my passport is expired so manager of embassy told me for renewal of passport first and they will call me again when passort will be back from isb .hope all will be ok soon.

They usually ask for new passport because they give ur Visa on new passport thts y. Hope urs is gd news
